Mormelot

Mormelot – 2025-10-08

EIN-Advisory: Mormelot — Elevated Threat (3.5/5) — October 2025

Status: Elevated. Mormelot is an actively hunted low-sec system with multiple capable solo hunters and coordinated groups operating across the week. Exercise heightened caution.

Summary

Recent analysis shows repeated PvP activity across weekdays and weekends, with concentrated spikes around 08:00–12:00 UTC and 18:00–20:00 UTC. Threats range from stealthy cloaked bombers and covert-frigate hunters to coordinated frigate gangs and a black-ops Redeemer. Unattributed kills suggest highly stealthy or quickly overbearing attackers operate here as well.

Notable Threats (top six)

  • Zedxspectrum fortyeightK (Tengu) & Towel Attendant Malachi (Manticore) — High danger. Coordinated Tengu + stealth bomber pair; capable of catching both solo explorers and industrials.
  • Jamal Enzo (Redeemer) — Very high danger. Black-ops bomber capable of cloaked, devastating strikes; assume cyno/black-ops tactics.
  • 1yammm / Docteur West / Seyth Enshakor / Marybels — Coordinated frigate pack (Worms, Dramiel, Maulus NI). Tactical EW + burst DPS; dangerous to cruisers and smaller.
  • Trevor Dalech (Astero) — Efficient solo hunter. Expect cloaked scout/explorer ambushes.
  • Alexis glavor (Pacifier) — Dedicated covert-op frigate hunter; potent against unfit ships.
  • Unattributed aggressors — Unknown origin kills (shuttle/capsule/explorer); treat as stealth or rapid-strike threats.

Tactical Recommendations

  • Avoid moving high-value cargo or vulnerable ships during peak UTC windows (08:00–12:00, 18:00–20:00) and known high-activity days (mid-week and weekend spikes).
  • Use scouts or travel with an escort when possible; keep alignment and warp-to bookmarks ready.
  • Maintain constant D-Scan discipline and monitor local proxies; cloak-capable ships and stealth bombers are present—assume cloaked threat vectors.
  • For explorers/fragile hulls: use covert ops, travel fast, and limit time spent idling in-system. Consider alternate routes or timing outside observed peaks.
  • If operating in combat-capable ships, expect coordinated EW/tackle compositions; fit for tackle resistance and quick disengage where feasible.

Mormelot is actively used as a hunting ground by experienced pilots. Plan movements conservatively and assume adversaries will exploit predictable windows and unescorted targets.
