Elarel – 2025-10-14
Elarel — HIGH Threat Advisory
Threat Level: HIGH — persistent, coordinated hunters operating across broad UTC hours. Low-sec transit and operations in Elarel carry significant risk.
Summary
- Primary predators: The Dioltas Collective (Cailin, Cadhla, Cillian) — Loki / Tholos / Manticore mix; highly active, cloaked, rapid-engagement profile.
- Other active hunters: Serqet Daphiti (Gnosis/Abaddon), Aladar Krahn (Tengu/Tholos), Peter Powers (Legion/Magus), Vipy Styx (Ikitursa/Loki), Charon Sasen (Pacifier).
- Attack windows: Elevated risk 14:00–20:00 UTC and 20:00–05:00 UTC; activity is consistent throughout the week.
Immediate Warnings (rooted in observed kills)
- Miners & industrials: IMMINENT DANGER. Ventures, Retrievers, Nereus and M.T.U.s are repeatedly targeted — expect fast, cloaked ambushes and capsule kills.
- Exploration frigates: HIGH RISK. Astero/Heron-class ships have been caught by cloaked ships and bomb/strategic-cruiser setups.
- Slow / low-HP targets: EXTREME RISK. Strategic cruisers and stealth bombers present high burst and interdiction capability.
Tactical Mitigations (doable in low-sec)
- Stay D-scan and probe-aware. Look for combat probes and cloaked signatures before committing.
- Avoid solo, slow ops. Travel in fleets or with dedicated escorts; if you must mine/explore solo, use heavy-tanked barges or rapid-exit fits.
- Expect cloaks and interdiction: assume Tholos/Loki/Tengu tactics — keep align-to and safes pre-set; don’t AFK.
- Use fast/agile ships for transit; keep a warp-out plan (warp to 0, bookmarks, or cyno-ready fleet where applicable).
- Do not carry expensive implants if you expect combat; pod-kills are occurring.
- Monitor local & killfeeds for changes in actors and fits; adapt routes/times to avoid peak windows.
Notes on engagement profile
- The Dioltas Collective shows coordinated, multi-ship ambushes and rapid capsule kills — engagement equals near-certain loss for unprepared targets.
- Expect heavy brawlers (Abaddon, Gnosis) and electronic/tackle support (Magus) used to lock down targets for follow-up strike.
Bottom line: Elarel is actively hunted. Only operate there with prepared anti-gank measures, escorts, or during very brief, well-planned windows. Vigilance and conservative risk management are essential.
