Mormelot

Mormelot – 2025-09-25

EIN-Advisory: Mormelot (Low-Sec) — Orange (Moderate–High)

Date: 2025-09-25
Region: Everyshore — System: Mormelot (Low-Sec)

Executive Summary
Mormelot presents an elevated tactical risk. Intelligence identifies recurring predatory actors—most notably a Machariel pilot operating as "Alexis glavor"—and coordinated interdiction groups combining Magus interdictors with Loki heavy hitters. Activity concentrates in late afternoons and evenings UTC. Transit with extreme caution; industrials, haulers and solo combat/stealth pilots are particularly exposed.

Observed Threats & Tactical Notes

  • "Alexis glavor" — Machariel: repeated kills on industrials (Viator, Epithal) and combat ships. High single-ship damage projection; avoid solo passage when Machariel presence is reported.
  • Interdiction teams (Magus + Loki): demonstrated ability to bubble and destroy agile combat ships (Hecate). Expect coordinated tackle + damage.
  • Other Machariel pilots (e.g., Jason Ozran): capable of fast alpha strikes.
  • Unidentified attackers / missing attacker logs: some kills lack attacker IDs (possible cloaked ops or rapid disengage). Increases unpredictability—exercise 100% caution around gates and belts.
  • Capsule destruction after ship kills: aggressors may deny pod escape—plan clone-jump safes in advance.

Patterned Peak Times (UTC) — avoid or harden operations:

  • Thursday ~20:xx
  • Saturday ~14:xx
  • Sunday evening / Monday 03:xx and 13:xx
  • Monday ~13:xx (Manticore loss observed)

Practical Mitigation (rooted in observed behavior)

  • Avoid transits during listed peak windows. If unavoidable, travel in force or with a dedicated in-system scout (cloaked or mobile) and ready warp-out plan.
  • Industrials/haulers: prefer blockade runners or deep-space transports; move empty or in convoy; fit warp core stabilizers and align/warm-up bookmarks to minimize tackle risk.
  • Frigates/stealth ships: maintain long distances from gates/celestials (100+ km), d-scan frequently, and do not decloak near apparent traffic.
  • Vessel fit: consider warp core stabs, AB/MWD options for escape, and tackle-counter fits where applicable. Frigate warp-stab fittings can enable breakouts from bubbles.
  • If podded risk is unacceptable: set a safe clone-jump system before entering low-sec and keep an emergency warp-away bookmark.

Forecast
Given established predator profiles and coordinated interdiction capability, Mormelot is expected to remain high-risk for the near term—especially for solo pilots and cargo movements. Exercise the mitigations above and assume adversaries are prepared to trap and finish targets rather than opportunistically flee.
